Due to rapid growth, we are looking for a committed and driven Warehouse Operator to join our branch in Mount Wellington.
About the Role
The purpose of the role is to coordinate dispatch and logistics ensuring client product orders are efficiently and accurately dispatched.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the dispatch team and oversee all outbound deliveries
- Run PORGS
- Transfer BO
- Manage KIT Portal
- Produce Kits
- Assembly of finished goods
- Loading / unloading trucks & containers
- Pick & packing customer orders
- Identify & complete unconfirmed pick tickets
- Coordinate and complete stock variances
- Liaise with warehouse team on a daily basis for on-time and cost effective freight
- Ensure daily bin stock transfer is updated in a timely manner using P21 and ensuring all relevant team members are trained
- Conduct weekly took box meeting on set agenda and ensuring attendees signed off
- Ensure daily pre-operational forklift checks are carried out and report all major defects to Management.
- Plan and coordinate all forklift maintenance
- Work with management on assigned projects
- Suggest training for team and self to Manager
- Suggest continuous improvement for warehouse to Management
- Other tasks set by Management
Essential Selection Criteria:
- 1-2 years experience in the Warehouse Industry
- Forklift Licence
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Must be driven by deadlines and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
